PRODUCT UPDATES

Enhanced Asset Page Design and Layout

Both structured and unstructured Asset pages have received a significant upgrade.

This product update not only enhances the visual appeal but also paves the way for future functionalities, including improved lifecycle management and the addition of notes.

Removal of Misconfigurations

As part of our continuous improvement efforts, misconfigurations have been removed from the Asset, Inventory, and Exports pages, and are no longer visible within the system.

Large Sensitive Asset Risk Rule

We're pleased to announce the rollout of our latest enhancement – the Large Sensitive Asset risk rule. This innovative rule is designed to specifically address large assets (500 GB+) of a sensitive nature that currently lack associated lifecycle policies. By targeting these assets, we aim to mitigate various challenges, including data erasure concerns, an expanded attack surface, and elevated risks of compliance violations.

The implementation of the Large Sensitive Asset risk rule significantly impacts both security and compliance dimensions, providing a robust shield against potential threats while ensuring strict regulatory adherence.

Permission Updates in AWS

We have introduced the following three permission updates in AWS:

  1. bedrock:list
    • With this permission, Prisma Cloud DSPM get a list of resources or entities managed by the Bedrock framework within an AWS environment.
  2. bedrock:get
    • With this permission, Prisma Cloud DSPM can access essential data and configurations related to the infrastructure provisioned and managed by Bedrock.
  3. elasticfilesystem:ClientMount
    • With this permission, Prisma Cloud DSPM can mount EFS file systems as readonly.
