Prisma Cloud DSPM released the following updates in January '24.
NEW FEATURES
Support for Azure NetApp Files
It is now possible to classify files stored within Azure file shares, powered by NetApp.
Onboarding is done by simply providing a username and password to the designated file share to get started. The platform supports custom risks, and stay tuned for the addition of out-of-the-box risks in upcoming releases. Enhance your file management experience with this latest feature!
For further information refer to Azure NetApp Files.
Known Project Exclusions
It is now possible to designate projects as "known" (non-foreign), thereby diminishing the frequency of alerts and risk findings associated with accounts and projects recognized by the organization but not actively monitored by Prisma Cloud DSPM.
To mark a project as known, users can utilize this functionality directly from the relevant risk finding or alert. Alternatively, add known projects in the Exclusions section in Settings. This enhancement offers a streamlined approach to managing and mitigating alerts and risk findings for projects acknowledged by the organization but not actively under Dig's monitoring purview.
For further information refer to Exclude projects from Dig alerts and risks.
Integrate Prisma Cloud DSPM with Wiz
This new integration improves the ability for Wiz users to contextualize risk based on the specific data stored in each asset.
The integration also enables Wiz users to prioritize risk findings more effectively. By considering factors such as the sensitivity, importance, or regulatory implications of the stored data, users can refine their risk management approach within the Wiz platform.
For further information refer to Integrate Prisma Cloud DSPM with Wiz.
