Prisma Cloud DSPM released the following updates in November '23.

NEW FEATURES

Ignore Non-Sensitive Findings

The Ignore Non-Sensitive Findings feature introduces a powerful enhancement to help you tailor your data security assessments more precisely. Previously, all data type findings were categorized as "Sensitive," triggering potential risks even when certain information was not actually sensitive. This generic approach often led to unnecessary noise, inundating users with irrelevant alerts.

With the introduction of the "Ignore Non-Sensitive Findings" feature, you can differentiate between sensitive and non-sensitive findings, allowing you to customize your security parameters based on the actual nature of your data.

On-premise File Shares

• Enhance the security and ease of use for integrating your on-premise file shares with Prisma Cloud DSPM.

This new feature enables you to effortlessly access and filter a detailed catalog of files with risk findings across a wide array of asset types, including S3 Buckets (AWS), Storage Accounts (Azure), and Cloud Storages (GCP).

Integrate Prisma Cloud DSPM with Torq

• Integrate Prisma Cloud DSPM with Torq to ensure seamless collaboration between the two platforms.
• Leverage the Prisma Cloud DSPM-Torq integration to effectively initiate customized workflows that respond to identified risks and alerts within Prisma Cloud DSPM. These workflows enable diverse actions, including data gathering, ticket generation, configuration adjustments for resolving identified issues, and streamlined communication.

PRODUCT UPDATES

Enhanced Notifications

Notifications across Slack, SNS, Webhook, and Torq have been streamlined to ensure consistency, presenting identical information for both Risks and Alerts. (Stay tuned for the upcoming alignment of Jira and PagerDuty tickets.)

In addition to this alignment, notifications now feature a new "Asset Information" section. This addition provides valuable insights into the context of remediation efforts. This improvement enhances the clarity and effectiveness of notifications, facilitating a more seamless response to identified issues.
